Appreciation for the Successful Conclusion of the ARCO 2024 in Osaka

Dear Participants, Sponsors, and Program Committee Members,
We are thrilled to express our heartfelt gratitude to each of you for making ARCO 2024 in Osaka a resounding success. Your participation, support, and dedication have been invaluable to this event. We were honored to have 135 outstanding presentations and welcomed a total of 141 participants, for which we are deeply thankful.
This year’s theme, “Advancing Bone Health after the Era of COVID-19: Innovations in Diagnosis and Treatment,” has guided our discussions and presentations, highlighting the importance of adapting our approaches in light of recent challenges.
To our participants, thank you for sharing your knowledge and insights. The engaging discussions and innovative presentations showcased the latest advancements in bone circulation and osteonecrosis, enriching our understanding and fostering collaboration within our community.
We are also pleased to announce the winners of our awards:
Best Paper Award: Junichi Nakamura, Wakaba Fukushima, Wataru Ando, Shigeo Hagiwara, Yuya Kawarai, Takashi Sakai, Kazuya Ito, Masaki Takao, Takashi Imagama, and Nobuhiko Sugano for their paper titled “Time to surgery from definitive diagnosis of osteonecrosis of the femoral head: a multi-center sentinel monitoring system in Japan.”
Paper Award: Kazuma Takashima, Keisuke Uemura, Hirokazu Mae, Ryo Higuchi, Sotaro Kono, Wataru Ando, Hidetoshi Hamada, and Nobuhiko Sugano for their work on “Prediction of the occurrence of collapse in osteonecrosis of the femoral head: ARCO classification system with use of MRI.”
Best Poster Award: Wataru Ando, Takashi Sakai, Wakaba Fukushima, Hidetoshi Hamada, Masaki Takao, and Nobuhiko Sugano for their poster titled “Radiographic progression in the early stage of osteonecrosis of the femoral head fulfilling only MRI diagnostic criterion.”
