Visa Information
A valid passport (at least 6 months validity) and Japanese Visa are required to enter Japan.
The JAPAN eVISA is a system that enables applicants to apply for a visa online and issues an electronic visa to applicants for a short-term stay for tourism. As of November 1, 2023, JAPAN eVISA is available to residents in the following countries/region.

Eligibility for the JAPAN eVISA
1. All foreign nationals/people residing in the following countries/region, except those who are exempt from short-term visa.
Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, U.S.A.
2. (1) Nationals of China, who reside in China
(2) Nationals of Viet Nam, who reside in Viet Nam (For the time being, only those Vietnamese who participate in a packaged tour organized by designated travel agencies.)
(Note: Visa application must be made through the travel agencies accredited by the Japanese overseas establishment. The agencies will begin applying for visa on the JAPAN eVISA system as soon as their preparations are complete.)
For more accurate information, the secretariat of ARCO 2024 recommends you contact your local Japanese Embassy to ask about the necessary documents for visa issuance. It is also highly recommended you apply for the visa at least one month before your departure to Japan as the visa process may take time.
