「Guidelines for submission of lecture abstract collection manuscript」

Abstract collection manuscript submission deadline: October 27th (Friday)

Manuscript preparation guidelines;
To prepare a manuscript for a collection of lecture abstracts, please download and use the abstract collection manuscript template and create it according to the writing format below. When submitting your manuscript, please be sure to send it as a PDF file to avoid misalignment of the manuscript. Also, be sure to embed fonts in the PDF file and create it without security.

1. The language will be Japanese or English.

2. The manuscript should be 1 to 4 pages on A4 blank paper, and should be created using software such as WORD. Color versions of photos, etc. are also available.

3. The standard number of characters per page for the main body of the manuscript is 40 characters x 38 lines = 1,520 characters, but if you have margins for the top and bottom (20 mm each) and left and right (20 mm each), the number of lines and characters can be increased somewhat. It's okay to change.

4. Please make the font size at least 10 points. Please use half-width alphanumeric characters in sentences.

5. On the first page, leave one line blank from the top (below the top margin) and write the lecture title (Japanese title) centered on the second line.

If you have a subtitle, write it on the line next to the main topic, placing it between horizontal lines (-) and centering it as in "-Subtitle-". Please make the font size of the subtitle slightly smaller than the title of the lecture. Please write the English title on the line next to the Japanese title, centering it.

6. Leave one line blank from the title line and write the presenter's affiliation and name, aligned to the right. If your joint name cannot be written on one line, you may write on two lines. Please put a circle in front of the speaker's name.

7.Please leave one line between the presenter's name and affiliation and write his/her database abstract (Japanese) in between 150 and 180 characters.

Please reduce the number of characters per line to about 3 characters on both sides of the main text. The characters that can be used in the abstract are kanji, hiragana, katakana, alphabets, and numbers. In addition, you may use Greek letters, superscripts and subscripts of numbers, and chemical formulas, but you may not cite figures, tables, or references in the manuscript of the conference proceedings.

8. Start writing the main text with one additional line below the abstract, and start from the beginning on the second and subsequent pages.

9. On the first page, draw a horizontal line about the third line from the bottom and use the line below as the footer. Create this footer only on the first page.

First, in the first line of the footer, write the keyword (Japanese, or English if the text is in English) using up to 5 words. Please note that one keyword must consist of up to 10 characters (1 word in English). Please use a middle dot (･) to separate each keyword. Characters that can be used to describe keywords are kanji, hiragana, katakana, English, and numbers.

10. On the bottom line of the footer of the first page, write the names of all authors in Roman letters, in the following order: surname (all capital letters), first name (first letter capitalized, remaining capital letters), followed by contact information (work place). Please enter your telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address.

If the footer, keywords, name in Roman letters, etc. cannot fit on one line, please adjust the number of lines in the footer as appropriate.

11. Please do not insert page numbers or other footer information other than the first page footer above.
